Cogir Senior Living, based in Scottsdale, Arizona, is seeking a dedicated Cook for our community restaurant in South Carolina. You will prepare fresh, nutritious meals for residents, families, and staff, working closely with the culinary director to create comforting dishes and seasonal specials from scratch.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in full-service kitchen, knowledge of dietary needs for seniors, and the ability to read recipes and batch-cook.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Food Handler Card and sanitation knowledge required.
• 1+ year experience in full-service kitchen preferred.
• Ability to read and execute recipes; batch cooking experience beneficial.
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals per established menus and dietary guidelines.
• Set up and break down work areas; maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
• Collaborate with dining services to ensure timely meal service.
• Check inventory and restock as needed; follow safety regulations.
• Assist with training and adhere to standards for food safety.
