The role requires adapting to dietary requirements, keeping a clean kitchen, and delivering respectful, personalized service during peak dining times. Applicants should have at least 1 year kitchen experience, knowledge of food safety, and a ServSafe or equivalent

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of cook experience in healthcare, senior living, or hospitality.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
• Ability to lift 40–50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Experience with therapeutic or specialized diets.
• ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation and service according to menus, recipes, and portion standards.
• Ensure meals are prepared safely, on time, and at proper serving temperatures.
• Accommodate resident dietary needs, including special diets, allergies, and texture modifications.
• Present food attractively and consistently, following Mosaic dining standards.
• Assist with plating, garnishing, and serving during peak dining times.
• Provide courteous, respectful, and personalized service to residents and guests, ensuring an exceptional dining experience.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation, and follow infection control standards.
