RiverMead Lifecare Community in Peterborough, NH is seeking a Cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare high-quality meals for residents, staff, and guests across multiple dining venues in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

We welcome candidates from restaurant, healthcare, hospitality, food service, senior living, or institutional dining backgrounds who are passionate about quality, food safety, and creating memorable dining experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of professional cooking experience preferred.
• Experience in restaurant, healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or institutional dining is a plus.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of menu items, including soups, salads, sandwiches, entrées, desserts.
• Provide food service support for multiple dining venues.
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Assist with meal preparation, production, plating, and service.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines.
• Monitor temperature of foods and refrigeration.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and assist with maintenance.
• Collaborate with chefs, cooks, servers, and dietary staff to deliver a quality dining experience.
• Support team operations to ensure efficient meal service.
