Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of professional cooking experience preferred.
• Experience in restaurants, healthcare, senior living, hospitality, catering, or institutional food service is a plus.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety practices.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including soups, salads, sandwiches, entrées, side dishes, and desserts.
• Provide food service support for multiple dining venues, including the Pub, Bistro, Health Center, and Main Kitchen.
• Ensure food quality, presentation, consistency, and portion control standards.
• Assist with meal preparation, production, plating, and service.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, infection control, and HACCP guidelines.
• Monitor, record, and maintain food and refrigeration temperatures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and assist with routine equipment care.
• Work collaboratively with chefs, cooks, servers, and dietary staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
• Support team operations and help wherever needed to ensure efficient meal service.
