Job summary

Monarch Communities and Brandywine Senior Living is seeking a Cook to prepare meals for residents, families, and guests. Reporting to the Director of Culinary Services, you will study recipes, set menus, and ensure sanitation compliance.

The role runs 11am–7pm Thursday to Sunday with some flexibility, offering hourly pay of $22.00–$24.00. You will handle dietary needs, HACCP compliance, records, inventory, and regulatory adherence while delivering a complete menu that satisfies our senior living

Qualifications

• Maintains ServSafe certification or able to obtain ServSafe certification.
• One year of job-related experience including food preparation and special diets.
• High school diploma or GED accepted.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve quality meals.
• Ensure special dietary needs are met and texture-modified food as directed.
• Maintain records to comply with food safety and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor food prep, storage and handling per HACCP, labeling and storage protocols.
• Keep accurate temperature logs for hot/cold foods, fridges and freezers.
