Job summary

Monarch Communities and Brandywine Senior Living is seeking a Cook to join our team and prepare delicious meals for our senior living residents, their families, and guests. Reporting to the Director of Culinary Services, the Cook's responsibilities will include studying recipes, setting up menus and preparing high-quality dishes. You should be familiar with sanitation regulations.

The full-time shift is 11am-7pm Thursday - Sunday (some flexibility). Salary range: $22.00 - $24.00 hourly.

Qualifications

• Maintains ServSafe certification or able to obtain ServSafe certification.
• One year job related experience including food preparation and special diets.
• High school diploma or GED accepted.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve quality meals.
• Ensure special dietary needs are met and prepare texture modified food.
• Ensure compliance with record keeping, food safety and HACCP requirements.
• Monitor food preparation, storage and handling with logs.
