Job summary

Monarch Communities operates Brandywine Assisted Living in Mahwah, NJ, and is hiring a full-time cook/server. You will prepare and serve meals, maintain sanitary food service areas, and manage inventory, logs, and regulatory compliance.

This role requires ServSafe certification (or eligibility), at least 1 year of kitchen experience, and the ability to work at least one weekend day. Final compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of food preparation and menu experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work at least one weekend day per week

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve quality meals

• Maintain record keeping, temperature logs, and inventory
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and labeling
• Monitor storage and handling per HACCP policies
• Participate in in-service trainings and team meetings
