Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Bellevue, WA seeks an experienced Cook to prepare fresh, nutritious meals for residents and guests. You will work closely with the culinary director to craft traditional comfort foods and seasonal menus using local ingredients, with meals made from scratch where possible.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a full-service kitchen, knowledge of dietary considerations for seniors, and the ability to read and execute recipes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in full‑service kitchen, cooking from scratch.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and knife handling.
• Experience with dietary needs for seniors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following established menus, recipes, dietary and sanitary guidelines.
• Set up and break down work areas in a timely fashion.
• Keep stations clean and sanitized; collaborate with dining services for timely service.
• Check and restock foods; adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Participate in trainings including food handling and safety certifications.
