Job summary

Clarendale of Addison is hiring a hospitality-focused Cook to perform full-scope, hands-on production cooking in the Community Culinary Services Department. The position emphasizes quality, sanitation, and adherence to dietary criteria while maintaining a friendly, resident-centered service style.

The role runs 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM with weekend availability. Starting pay is $21.00/hour based on experience, plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus paid after 90 days. EEO Employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Culinary degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year restaurant or senior living cooking experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and operational organization.
• Adhere to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards.
• Produce and serve menu cycle programs per dietary criteria and local regulations.
• Demonstrate speed, accuracy, and efficiency in cooking.
• Visit residents to evaluate food service and adjust operations accordingly.
• Represent the community in a warm, inviting manner.
• Support driving occupancy and revenue through engagement.
