Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Cook to prepare meals for residents, following standardized recipes and dietary requirements in a clean, compliant kitchen environment.

You will ensure high quality, attractive presentation, record production and safety temps, and assist with dishwashing and dining service as needed. This role emphasizes safe food handling, teamwork, and occasional leadership in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
