Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in the United States is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare meals that support residents' health and enjoyment while keeping a safe, clean kitchen. You will follow standardized recipes, monitor quality, and accommodate dietary modifications.

As part of a collaborative dining team, you will record production, manage stock, and maintain sanitation, with opportunities to lead production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
