Sagora is hiring a Cook at Santa Fe Trails Assisted Living & Memory Care in Texas to prepare meals for residents in a warm, team-focused kitchen. You’ll work in a community offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care, with residents-first values and opportunities for growth.

The role requires at least one year in a commercial kitchen, ServSafe and Food Handler permits, and strong communication with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.
• Must possess ServSafe Certification and Food Handler’s permit as regulated by state and local authorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and other team members.

Responsibilities

• Cook à la carte items
• Monitor stock
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas
• Assist with training of all Culinary team members
• Follow established methods of meal preparation and presentation
• Serve meals to residents promptly and in friendly and courteous manner
