Job summary

Green Leaf Senior Living is hiring a Cook to prepare meals that meet residents’ nutritional needs and adhere to portion control standards. You will serve meals in the dining area and deliver trays to rooms, while assisting with related cleaning tasks.

The ideal candidate has facility, nursing home, or restaurant cooking experience, and holds ServSafe or a food handler's card, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Cook experience in a facility, nursing home, or restaurant preferred.
• ServSafe certification or Food handler's card required.
• Experience with food preparation and nutrition.
• Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
