Job summary

Manchester Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a full-time cook to join our morning team. The ideal candidate will have ServSafe certification and experience in healthcare or institutional dining. This role emphasizes high-volume meal preparation, food safety, and presentation.

Responsibilities include following standardized recipes, producing meals, and collaborating with dietary staff and nursing to ensure resident satisfaction. Weekend and holiday hours may be required.

Qualifications

  • Current ServSafe certification required.
  • Two years of cooking experience preferred.
  • Healthcare or institutional dining experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong food preparation, presentation, and sanitation knowledge.
  • Ability to follow written recipes and oral instructions.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as assigned.
  • Basic computer skills are a plus.

Manchester Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an experienced full-time cook to join our morning team.

Park-time cook for afternoon and early evenings.

Looking for work life balance. We are especially interested in candidates with cooking experience in nursing homes, hospitals, assisted-living communities, institutional kitchens, banquet operations, or catering companies. This position is ideal for a cook who can prepare high-quality meals in volume while maintaining consistency, food safety, and attractive presentation.

Responsibilities

  • Produce appropriate quantities for scheduled meal service
