Job summary

Westminster Woods on Julington Creek in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Construction Manager for our Construction and Design department to oversee design reviews and construction of Senior Living facilities and properties. This full-time role requires experience across feasibility studies, due diligence, ground-up and renovation projects.

You will coordinate with architects, engineers and contractors, manage budgets and schedules, review drawings for compliance, and ensure on-time, on-budget project

Qualifications

• Graduate of a four-year degree program and a minimum of ten (10) years' experience working in a design and construction related field.
• A degree in architecture, engineering or a construction related program is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops a cost-effective plan and schedule for completion of project.
• Coordinates work of all parties on project and maintains relationships.
• Review and comment on preliminary plans and schematic designs for in-house reviews.
• Provide preliminary budget figures and value engineering as needed.
• Oversees performance of contractors and reviews drawings for spec compliance.
• Administers construction contracts and monitors permits and documentation.
