Job summary

Westminster Communities of Florida is seeking a Senior Director of Construction near downtown Orlando to lead construction programs for senior living communities. You will oversee ground-up builds, conversions, and renovations, managing schedules, contracts, and budgets across multiple projects.

The role demands extensive leadership, strong stakeholder communication, and hands-on oversight of pre-construction through project closeout to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of construction-related experience with multiple projects led as a Project Manager.
• Preferred experience includes green construction, FF&E coordination, building controls, AHCA or healthcare construction, and renovations/additions to operational facilities.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to rules, policies, standards, and guidelines established by Westminster Services and its communities.
• Represent assigned construction projects during pre-construction and construction phases; project values from $25,000 to over $30 million.
• Oversee management of schedules, budgets, and cost controls; supervise project managers and consultants.
• Manage pre-construction planning, bidding, contract administration, change orders, procurement, scheduling, and delivery.
• Coordinate with Architects, Engineers, Contractors, and other consultants for effective communication and coordination.
