Job summary

Solera Senior Living in Bethesda, MD is seeking compassionate Concierge to serve as the hub of our community, welcoming residents, families, and guests, and assisting with administrative needs. This PRN role supports hospitality and service excellence at Village Crossing at Worman's Mill.

Weekend morning/evening/overnight availability required. Prior customer service experience preferred; strong communication and organization skills essential.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or receptionist experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Proficiency in office equipment and software (computer, phone system, copier, etc.).
• Compassionate, patient, and able to remain calm under pressure in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, families, and visitors, creating a warm and professional first impression.
• Answer phones promptly with proper community greeting and route calls/messages as needed.
• Sort and distribute mail to appropriate departments.
• Provide clerical support, including typing, filing, data entry, and handling correspondence.
• Escort visitors, residents, or families as needed to suites or community areas.
• Maintain accurate referral, mailing list, and customer information databases.
• Assist with the move-in process, ensuring all documentation and steps are completed accurately.
• Support special events with setup and tear down as needed.
• Uphold confidentiality, resident rights, and Solera’s policies and standards.
• Promote a safe and secure environment for residents, guests, and team members.
• Collaborate with other departments and foster a positive, team-oriented environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Community Development
