Job summary

Benedictine Living seeks an Executive Director to oversee daily operations of one or more Benedictine communities in Minnesota. The role ensures regulatory compliance, profitability, resident and family satisfaction, and alignment with Benedictine Mission and Core Values.

You will lead a professional workforce, develop budgets, and drive strategic plans with senior leadership to achieve long-term goals and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, health care administration, or related field.
• Ability to relate to staff, board and community.
• Strong leadership, human relations and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the appropriate state (for skilled nursing communities).
• Licensed or state-criteria to operate housing (for housing communities).

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of Benedictine-owned/managed communities to ensure sustainability and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and develop leadership teams; recruit, screen and hire qualified associates.
• Develop tactical and strategic plans with VP Operations to meet long-term goals.
• Manage budgeting for assigned community to achieve profitability and sustainability.
• Promote Benedictine Mission and Core Values in day-to-day activities.
