Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking an Executive Director to oversee day-to-day operations of a senior living Community, drive occupancy goals, and lead staff across departments.

The role emphasizes strong operational management, financial stewardship, regulatory compliance, and enhancing resident, family, and employee relations to uphold Spectrum’s standards of care and profitability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Assisted Living Administrator Certification/License required in AZ, MO, NM, KS, CO and TX.
• 7+ years of experience in senior living or multifamily residential with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Must comply with state and federal mandated training/certification programs for the Executive Director position.
• Current state driver’s license with an appropriate driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Community and meet occupancy targets.
• Lead marketing, public relations, follow-up with prospective residents to ensure positive occupancy.
• Recruit, hire, train, motivate, and educate staff in all departments.
• Operate the Community to ensure profitability and adherence to budget and census guidelines.
• Complete month-end reports and all daily/weekly/monthly billing and accounting tasks.
• Ensure compliance with all state/federal laws and company rules, including Fair Housing knowledge.
