Job summary

The Northbridge Companies in Wayland, MA is seeking a passionate Chef/Cook to join our culinary team. This role supports residents with high-quality meals and adheres to established standards. A full-time position with comprehensive benefits is offered, with a schedule of 6am-2:30pm Thu-Sun.

You will collaborate with the Culinary Director on menu planning, maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety, and create appealing new dishes while upholding professional conduct and food safety practices.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or chef in a fast-paced kitchen preferred.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to perform job responsibilities and follow safety and operational procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Know how to plan menus, prepare food, and use different cooking methods.
• Organize time well and pay attention to details.
• Commit to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Know food safety rules and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Cook food precisely following established standards and guidelines.
