Job summary

The Northbridge Companies is seeking a Chef / Cook to join our culinary team at a Senior Living community. Mostly 10:30am-6:30pm with some 6:30am-2pm shifts, and every other weekend. Full-time includes a $1000 sign-on bonus; part-time includes a $250 bonus.

As a member of our Culinary Family, you will prepare meals, help design menus with the Culinary Director, and ensure high safety standards. A vaccination requirement and background screening are in place, with ongoing training and growth

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or chef in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to plan menus, prepare food, and use different cooking methods.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food safety rules and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Cook food precisely following established standards and guidelines.
• Work closely with the Culinary Director to make menus that residents love.
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized, following health and safety rules.
• Come up with new dishes that residents will enjoy.
• Be professional in all culinary interactions and operations.
