Charter Senior Living in Danvers, MA is hiring a Part-time Cook to join our compassionate culinary team. You will prepare nutritious, resident-focused meals in a warm, supportive environment, following menus and dietary needs. Shifts 6a-2:30p, no late nights.

Qualifications

• Prior cook or dietary cook experience preferred.
• Senior living, healthcare, restaurant or hospitality background a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals for residents according to menus and recipes.
• Maintain food quality, taste, presentation and portion standards.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
• Prepare meals for special dietary needs including diabetic, low-sodium and vegetarian diets.
• Assist with kitchen cleanliness and organization.
• Maintain proper food storage and temperature logs.
• Support timely meal service and positive dining experiences.
• Collaborate to maintain an efficient, respectful kitchen.
