Job summary

Experience Senior Living LLC. in Florida is seeking a dedicated Chauffeur/Driver to transport residents safely, assist them in and out of vehicles, and support daily activities across the community.

You will operate a 12-passenger van, follow schedules, maintain vehicle cleanliness and records, and coordinate with the Resident Experience team to ensure a comforting, secure travel experience for residents and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or 2–5 years related experience.
• 2–5 years driving experience with a 12-passenger van; knowledge of maintenance programs preferred.
• Commercial driver’s license required to operate commercial size vehicles.
• Ability to operate 7–16 passenger vehicles and related equipment (wheelchair lift, tires, dolly) as needed.
• Experience with basic vehicle emergency repairs and tire changes.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 12-passenger van for community activities and destinations.
• Assist residents into and out of the vehicle safely.
• Secure passengers' wheelchairs and maintain restraints.
• Practice safe driving techniques at all times.
• Service and clean the vehicle; report maintenance needs.
• Maintain records of vehicle inspections and maintenance.
• Deliver groceries and belongings to residents’ apartments.
• Assist Resident Experience Department with activities and programs.
• Submit travel charges to the business office daily.
• Maintain a safe driving record per company policy.
• Handle emergencies and provide basic First Aid.
• Report unsafe conditions to the Executive Director.
• May perform other duties as needed.
