Qualifications

• Certified Medication Technician with CHHA or CNA certification.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and exercise good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and supervision for residents, assisting with activities of daily living while promoting dignity, independence, and safety.
• Administer and observe medications, documenting accurately and reporting concerns promptly.
• Monitor and record resident conditions, including changes in behavior, appetite, skin, and participation in activities.
• Engage residents in enrichment programs and life skills activities to support overall well-being.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in resident rooms and spaces.
• Respond promptly to resident call bells and security systems.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, supervisors, and healthcare staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and confidentiality policies.
