Job summary

LakeHouse Senior Living, a Discovery Senior Living community, seeks a Care/Medication Technician to provide hands-on care and support for residents in a warm, home-like environment. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, medications, and maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications include a CNA certification preferred, high school diploma/GED, 18+ years old, and CPR/First Aid preferred. Experience with seniors is preferred. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• CPR certification preferred.
• First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for a designated group of residents during the shift and check on them.
• Observe, report and document symptoms and changes in residents.
• Respond promptly to security system and resident calls.
• Notify supervisor if a resident needs more care.
• Assist with continence management and sanitation.
• Serve and assist with meals and assist with laundry as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas.
• Engage residents in activities and promote independence.
