Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Technician to join our resident-centered team. You will administer medications and monitor residents in a warm, home-like setting, delivering respectful, person-centered care.

Ideal candidates will hold a state Medication Technician License, CPR certification or willing to obtain it within six months, and a background in elder care. Join us for reliable hours, training, and supportive colleagues.

Qualifications

• Must hold state Medication Technician License and comply with the state-approved protocol in drug administration.
• CPR certification required or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• Must have current certification as a Nursing Assistant or completed CHHA/home maker training program.
• High School education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates questions, concerns, and/or discrepancies related to medication administration to the RCD.
• Communicates any significant change of mental or physical status of resident to RCD.
• Documents supervision of self-administration in MAR.
• Documents/notifies RCD of administration of PRN meds.
• Responsible for documentation on PRN meds and affect.
• Recognizes and can assist in the prevention of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
