Job summary

LakeHouse Senior Living, LLC in New Albany, Indiana is seeking an attentive Certified Nursing Assistant to provide hands-on care for residents, support daily living activities, and maintain a safe, home-like environment.

You will observe and report changes in residents, assist with meals and personal care, and collaborate with the health care team to promote dignity, independence, and well-being.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for a designated group of residents during the shift; checks on residents regularly.
• Observes, reports and documents symptoms and conditions of residents for changes.
• Responds to resident call bells promptly and notifies supervisor of increased care needs.
• Assists with continence management and maintains sanitation.
• Serves meals and assists with feeding; monitors appetite and intake.
• Maintains cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas; follows hygiene practices.

Skills

CNA certification preferred

Experience with seniors

Education

High School diploma or GED
