Discovery Senior Living in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to enrich the lives of seniors, build meaningful connections, and make a difference every day in a home-like environment. As a Caregiver, you will provide hands-on care and support, assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and eating, ensure safety, respond to call bells, and help residents maintain independence with dignity.

This part-time role offers a rotation schedule and location at 800 S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Experience with seniors is preferred.
• Excellent communication with residents, teammates and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care to residents including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation and eating support.
• Maintain a safe, home-like environment and promote independence with dignity.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and security systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and work areas.
• Offer companionship and engage residents in meaningful life activities.
