Job summary

TerraBella Senior Living in Durham, NC is hiring a Care/Medication Technician to provide hands-on care and support for residents in a home-like community. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring health and safety, and supporting medication administration under supervision.

The position emphasizes compassionate care, resident dignity, and teamwork within a Great Place to Work-certified organization.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aide certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• First Aid Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for a designated group of residents during the shift and monitor safety and well-being.
• Observe, report and document symptoms and conditions for changes in residents’ health.
• Respond to call bells promptly and assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with continence management and maintain sanitation of resident rooms.
• Help with meals, hygiene, dressing, ambulation, and transfers as instructed.
• Communicate with Nurse/Health Care Coordinator about resident needs and changes.
