Job summary

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with completed Care Specialist I & II training, at least six months of related experience, and CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with Care Specialist I and II completion within 90 days.
• At least 6 months of recent Care Specialist experience or equivalent.
• CPR/First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; willing to learn company software.
• Excellent communication and confidentiality in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate resident care to ensure quality.
• Serve as go-to resource for the care team.
• Administer medications per physician orders and policies.
• Review physician orders using eMAR with pharmacy support.
• Lead orientation and training for care staff.
• Maintain infection control and confidentiality policies.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
• Complete daily charting and reporting.
