Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a dedicated caregiver to provide comfort, safety and supervision for residents in a senior living setting. You will assist with daily living activities, administer medications, document care, and collaborate with the wellness leadership team to monitor changes in resident conditions.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, adherence to service plans, and maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism while engaging residents in daily activities

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification required or obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent oral and written communication with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents according to physician orders and document completion
• Provide compassionate and competent care for residents by performing services per residents' service plans, including bathing, grooming, dining assistance, wheel chair/walking escorts, reminders for meals, activities and medications
• Review eMAR each shift to ensure timely administration of medications and treatments
• Observe and report resident behavior and condition changes to Wellness Leadership Team
• Complete daily charting, documentation, and reporting as required
• Obtain resident weights and vitals
• Promote positive relationships with residents, staff and visitors
• Remain awake and alert during shift and perform duties safely
