Job summary

Aviva Senior Living in West Hartford, CT is seeking a dedicated Resident Assistant to join our team. This full-time role supports residents with daily living activities, memory care, and social engagement in a comforting, maintenance-free environment built for seniors.

You will follow supervisor plans, document changes in residents' conditions, and provide emotional support while adhering to community policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CNA preferred.
• Experience with elderly care, memory impairment care, and ADL assistance preferred.
• Ability to communicate professionally with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Safely assist residents with ADLs, transfers, hygiene, memory care activities and social interaction.
• Report changes in residents' condition or behavior.
• Document vitals, activities, incidents, and observations in resident records.
• Follow resident needs schedules as set by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Adhere to community policies and procedures.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
