Job summary

Ventas is seeking a Project Manager, Senior Living (CapEx) to oversee construction projects across its senior housing portfolio in the United States and Canada. You will collaborate with designers, operators and contractors, solicit proposals, evaluate them, and drive timely, budget-conscious execution in support of Ventas’ capital investment strategy.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, real estate, or a related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience in real estate, construction, or development.
• Ability to travel frequently in support of capital projects across the U.S. and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Solicit proposals, evaluate responses, and recommend selections with designers, project managers, and contractors.
• Manage execution process and coordinate stakeholders on large investment front-of-house and back-of-house projects.
• Collaborate with CapEx consultants to ensure project timing and spend accuracy.
• Run weekly or bi-weekly internal update calls.
• Attend weekly Owner, Architect, Designer calls across all larger projects.
