Job summary

Ventas, Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst in Senior Living Capex to support a growing portfolio of 850+ senior housing communities across North America and the UK. You will underwrite capital investments, analyze market data, and prepare materials for executive review.

The role requires a 1+ year post-Undergrad background, strong Excel/PowerPoint, and effective communication. Hybrid work with in-office days and relocation flexibility are offered along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Mathematics or similar field.
1+ years of post-undergraduate experience.
Willingness to relocate to Chicago, IL or NY metro area.
Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Experience with Power Query/Power BI; Python a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide analytical support for a portfolio of senior housing assets in North America and the UK.
Underwrite and prioritize capital investments using property, market, and demographic data.
Create materials for project approvals by executives.
Track, forecast, and report project status, cash spend, and variances.
Collaborate with Ventas internal teams and partners to manage $500M+ in annual capital investments across ~850 communities.
Occasionally conduct site visits to evaluate potential projects.
