Job summary

Aurora on France in Edina, MN seeks an experienced Campus Director of Environmental Services to lead maintenance, housekeeping, laundry, and environmental services operations. This role ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, families, staff, and visitors while overseeing building systems, preventative maintenance programs, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate of Arts Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree.
• 1 year One to Three Years experience.
• Experience with mechanical equipment.
• Special Class C Boilers License within 1 Year.
• Drivers License Current Driver's License (in good standing).
• Medical Exam Certification.
• Must be at least 18-years old.
• Must be insurable under the employers Auto Insurance Coverage.
• Must complete and pass in-house transportation curriculum course and pass driving evaluation within 30 Days.
• Bachelor of Arts Plant Maintenance or related field (preferred).
• 3 years Three to Five Years (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise housekeeping and maintenance team members.
• Interview, hire, train, coach, and develop staff.
• Manage employee performance and provide ongoing feedback and support.
• Create and maintain department schedules to ensure effective coverage.
• Monitor work orders and ensure timely completion of repairs and service requests.
• Develop, manage, and monitor the Environmental Services budget.
• Oversee maintenance and operations for campus buildings and grounds.
• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs for the campus.
• Establish annual department goals and operational priorities.
• Partner with site leadership to identify repair and maintenance needs.
• Coordinate vendor services, contracts, and repair projects.
• Maintain regulatory records, inspection logs, and maintenance documentation.
• Complete preventative maintenance and repair work as needed.
• Coordinate safety programs and emergency preparedness.
• Oversee campus transportation vehicles maintenance.
