Job summary

MBK Senior Living is hiring a Full-time Baker/Cook to work Thursday through Monday, 6am–2pm, with pay depends on experience. The role supports dining services, prepares meals per recipes, and contributes to resident well-being through high-quality, appetizing dishes.

You'll oversee kitchen operations under the Director of Dining Services or Executive Chef, maintain safety and sanitation, collaborate with staff, and participate in MBK's commitment to hospitality and service excellence.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required with food-safety certifications.
• Experience handling menus, recipes, and dietary requests.
• Willingness to work a 4–5 day schedule in a kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods per menus and recipes, ensuring quality and nutrition.
• Stock ingredients and manage inventory per guidelines.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards consistently.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstation and kitchen equipment.
• Serve meals at proper temperatures and presentation standards.
• Collaborate with Director of Dining Services and Executive Chef.
• Communicate residents' dietary needs and feedback to team.
• Support staff training and coaching as needed.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
