Job summary

The Cook at MBK Senior Living plays a central role in our dining program, preparing meals that are delicious, healthy, and served to residents with care. The position is PRN AM & PM, offering flexible scheduling and competitive hourly pay.

You will follow recipes, HACCP standards, and work under the Director of Dining Services to maintain high quality, safety, and sanitation. Requirements include a High School diploma, Food Handler and ServSafe certifications, and at least 2 years cooking

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; ServSafe certification required.
• 2+ years cooking and food preparation experience in a similar setting.
• Knowledge of HACCP and proper sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items per planned menus and recipes with high quality and appeal.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper storage of all kitchen areas.
• Follow dietary requirements, proper portioning, and food safety regulations.
