Job summary

Pilgrim Place in Claremont, CA is seeking a motivated Sales Counselor to guide prospective residents and families through the admissions process, delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the community’s mission.

You will identify leads, conduct tours, review applications, and coordinate move-ins while collaborating with staff to meet occupancy goals and maintain compliant records in a mission-driven setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two years of sales or senior living experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM or lead-tracking software.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, exercise sound judgment, and work effectively with a team.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop leads while building relationships with prospective residents, families, and referral partners.
• Conduct community tours, respond to inquiries, answer questions, and guide prospects through the sales process.
• Prepare sales packages, review applications and financial documentation, and facilitate the admission process.
• Discuss prospective residents’ needs and levels of care, collaborating with internal departments as needed.
• Coordinate resident move-ins and ensure a smooth transition into the community.
• Assist with marketing events and contribute to the development of marketing plans.
• Maintain accurate sales records, protect confidential information, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
