Job summary

The Orchard Assisted Living is seeking an enthusiastic Activity Aide to enrich residents’ lives in both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. Plan and lead engaging activities that promote socialization, wellness, and enjoyment for individuals with diverse abilities and needs.

We are looking for a compassionate team player with strong communication skills who can work collaboratively with residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong communication with residents and families.
• Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and team members.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional resident care.
• Experience with older adults is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead recreational and social activities for residents.
• Assist with transporting residents safely using wheelchairs as needed.
• Complete light documentation related to activities and resident participation.
• Work every other weekend and some holidays as part of the scheduled rotation.
