Job summary

The Merrill Gardens community in Media, PA is seeking an enthusiastic Senior Living Active Living Assistant for a 20-hour/week role with weekend availability. The position focuses on engaging activities that support residents' wellness and dignity in a caring, family-oriented setting.

You will collaborate with the Active Living Program Director to create and lead meaningful programs, coordinate family activities, and help residents maintain daily wellbeing in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; College Degree or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop Activities: design and implement activities for residents transitioning to Memory Care.
• Deliver, lead, or conduct program activities in a timely and effective manner.
• Coordinate at least one family activity per month.
• Maintain a professional demeanor reflecting the community's service philosophy.
• Familiarize yourself with residents and observe ADLs and social skills.
• Encourage and motivate residents and participate in training.
