Job summary

The Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison, IN is seeking an Activity Aide to support the Activity Director and carry out a structured activity program for residents. You will maintain records, transport residents to activities, and perform clerical duties as needed, in accordance with regulations and policies.

Applicants should have a high school diploma; CNA is preferred but not required. The role requires energetic, personable individuals who can motivate participation and respond to residents'

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
• Must meet health assessment requirements, including two stage Mantoux skin tests and one-step annually thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Aides assist the recreational activities leader or activities director, helping patients or participants use equipment and supplies.
• Prepares equipment and ensures the safety of patients or participants in the activity.
• Assist in leading the participants in group activities, such as an exercise class or art project.
• Proper record keeping of equipment and its use.
• Assist in planning programs for residents, which can help to provide socialization, relaxation and exercise.
