Job summary

Waters of Wabash West in Indiana is seeking an Activity Aide for a part-time role to support the Activity Director in delivering a varied program for residents. You will assist with transport, equipment prep, and record-keeping to ensure safe, engaging activities.

The position requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license with F endorsement, and the ability to work flexible hours. CNA preferred but not required; you'll join a compassionate team focused on resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with F-Endorsement.
• Must be able to drive the facility van.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
• Must be able to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Must present a positive image of the facility.
• Must meet health assessment requirements, including two stage Mantoux skin tests and one-step annually thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Assist the activities leader/director in delivering programs such as arts, crafts, outdoor activities, sports, music, or drama.
• Transport residents to and from activities.
• Prepare equipment and ensure safety during activities.
• Lead participants in group activities, exercise classes, or art projects.
• Maintain proper records of equipment and its use.
• Assist in planning programs to provide socialization, relaxation and exercise.
