Job summary

Cura-Health in Minnesota is seeking an energetic Activity Director to lead our Activities Department and design meaningful programs for residents across social, cognitive, physical and recreational needs.

You will coordinate calendars, supervise staff, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and tailor activities to individual preferences while ensuring compliance and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Experience with older adults or in healthcare or long-term care preferred.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent planning and multi-tasking capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive activity program based on resident needs, interests, abilities, and preferences.
• Develop and maintain monthly activity calendars with varied individual, small-group, and large-group activities.
• Provide programming supporting social, emotional, cognitive, physical, spiritual, and recreational well-being.
• Coordinate events, celebrations, outings, and other resident-centered programs.
• Supervise Activity Assistants/Aides and ensure proper staffing and documentation.
