Job summary

Cura Health seeks an energetic Activity Director to lead the Activities Department and craft meaningful programs for residents, enhancing social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and recreational well-being.

You will plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive activity program tailored to residents’ interests and needs, while coordinating with nursing, social services, dietary, therapy, and administration for seamless care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience working with older adults or in healthcare settings is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive activity program for residents.
• Develop monthly calendars with diverse activities for individuals and groups.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to address resident needs and preferences.
• Supervise and train Activity Assistants/Aides and maintain documentation.
