Cura Health is seeking an Activities Assistant to enhance residents' quality of life through meaningful, engaging programs. You will plan and lead individual and group activities, promote participation, and coordinate outings and events with families and staff.

Ideal candidates are creative, compassionate, and dependable, with strong communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to work with older adults of varying abilities. High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead engaging individual and group activities.
• Encourage resident participation based on interests and abilities.
• Provide one-on-one activities and visits as needed.
• Assist residents to and from activities.
• Help coordinate outings, special events, and holiday celebrations.
• Maintain activity calendars, participation records, and required documentation.
• Keep activity areas and supplies organized, clean, and safe.
• Build positive relationships with residents and families.
• Follow facility policies, resident rights, and regulatory requirements.
