Americare Senior Living is seeking an energetic and compassionate Activity Assistant / Activity Coordinator to support resident engagement in our skilled nursing community. You will help plan, organize, and lead recreational activities that promote socialization and quality of life.

Role involves coordinating group and individual activities, ensuring they align with resident needs and care plans, and adhering to state and federal guidelines.

Qualificações

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Additional education related to activities is a plus but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to transport residents.
• Compassionate, creative, and resident-focused approach.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in planning, organizing, facilitating and directing recreational activity programs.
• Support resident engagement through group and one-on-one activities.
• Adapt activities to meet individual resident abilities and care plans.
• Encourage resident participation and social interaction.
• Assist with special events, celebrations and community outings.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and team members.
• Maintain documentation related to resident participation as required.
