Job summary

Citadel Healthcare is seeking a Recreational Services Aide to assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating activities for residents, under the supervision of the Recreational Services Director. The role supports residents’ physical, emotional, and psychosocial well-being and aligns with care plans.

Responsibilities include enabling participation, transporting residents to activities, and coordinating with families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a relevant role is preferred.
• Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements activity programming to meet residents' needs and interests.
• Assist residents to and from activity programs and outings.
• Maintain rapport with families and encourage family involvement.
• Provide input to assessments and evaluations of resident participation.
• Communicate residents' concerns to the supervisor.
• Support residents' individual needs and routines.
• All other duties as assigned.
