Job summary

LCB Senior Living, LLC in Ashland, MA is hiring an Activity Assistant at The Residence at Valley Farm to plan, develop, and implement resident activities and programs. You will support transportation, newsletters, and calendars, while fostering warm relationships with residents and families.

A high school diploma is preferred; a valid driver's license is required; experience in recreational therapy or gerontology is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in recreational therapy or gerontology preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with no more than two moving violations in three years.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, and implementing activities for residents.
• Assist with transporting residents to activities and community events (drive a van as needed).
• Assist with maintaining and expanding volunteer programs and the residence store.
• Assist with monthly newsletters and weekly calendars; participate in required training.
