Qualifikationen

• BA in Gerontology, Human Services, Therapeutic Recreation, Social Services, Activity Director Certification or 2+ years of senior programs experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of activities experience in retirement, assisted living or long-term care facility.
• Ability to use basic Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) programs.
• Must have or obtain Class C Driver’s License to drive site bus.
• Strong creativity in developing and planning activity programs.

Aufgaben

• Adhere to company directives and ensure Activities staff do the same.
• Maintain strong relationships with residents, families, caregivers and staff.
• Plan, promote, budget and lead activity events or programs.
• Develop monthly activity calendars for IL, AL, MC, CS residents.
• Supervise activities staff and volunteers and evaluate performance.
• Support training of Resident Assistants in Memory Care and Care Suites.
