Legend Senior Living® is seeking a Transportation Assistant to join the Life Enrichment team. You will plan and execute engaging activities for residents and coordinate transportation to off-site events, helping to create a vibrant community experience.

The role involves driving company vehicles, overseeing activity components, and working closely with residents and staff to ensure safety and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must have a current, valid driver’s license.
• Clean driving record to meet insurance requirements.
• Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements.
• Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles.
• Experience with seniors, event planning, or lesson planning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement resident activities, including calendar development, budgeting, and coordinating with outside organizations, setup and cleanup.
• Ensure activities meet residents' needs and preferences.
• Oversee a specific life enrichment component as assigned (e.g., Memory Care, specific activity).
• Coordinate transportation of residents to/from outside events, including driving company vehicles.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
